1997–2002, PhD in organic chemistry, Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry;
1993–1997, BS in chemistry, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
报告内容： Our research has been focused on “protein structure and function and its regulation through chemicals” in the direction of "chemical probe and target validation", which is a cutting research in the field of Chemical Biology. We have uncovered the molecular mechanisms and chemical regulations of several important proteins, which interact with biological macromolecules, including nucleic acid demethylases, redox-sensing transcriptional regulators, and virulence factors by using small molecule tools. These studies thus help to understand the biological pathways better, and obtain active compounds as well as target candidates for drug discovery.
